Crossing
Kenneth Banks and William Trevaskis have been cross shooting, cross processing and generally double exposing film images of their respective islands of Alameda, CA and the Fox Islands, ME, creating a fascinating body of work that explores the meaning of place. Using expired film and alternative cameras, these two have created multi-layered images of the land, water and structures that represent their home environments, and that always allow for the element of surprise.
